Amal Zankar holds a master's degree in Health Education and Promotion and has long experience in healthcare. She worked for 11 years in the Surgery Department at Hammoud University Hospital before moving to Sibline Governmental Hospital in 2006, where she is now Head of the Surgery Department, Clinics and Endoscopy Unit. She also teaches at Al-Afaq Institute.
